Nothing says "feel-good movie of the year" like a bunch of kids getting totally brainwashed by camp counsellors who SPECIFICALLY targeted them, and are doing the brainwashing not because they're looking out for the kids' well-being, but because they want to spread the influence of THEIR beliefs. Instead of promoting the kids' ability to think for themselves, they deliberately catch them at an early age and give them the idea that what THEY say is the truth. It's wrong on so, so, so many levels.

Most horror films don't do a thing for me, but this one--a true horror film--made me want to cover my eyes. Good thing most Christians aren't like that. Most, I hope, will be as horrified as we nontheists and make an even greater effort to move in the opposite direction. Poor kids. Poor kids.

Kudos to the filmmakers for this well-crafted and powerful documentary on religious extremism. Everyone should see this--and take it both as a warning and a call to sanity.

It's playing this Friday in DC. I plan on attending. I hope to see many of my fellow heathens there.

Mira - I'll forward the info. I'm going with a group from Beltway Atheists. Hope to see you there.

Wow! That's scary. So we're doing the same thing as the Muslim schools in Pakistan. Get ready for the next holy war. I suppose it's on!

I thought they renamed it How To Raise A Homegrown Terrorist. I generally don't care for horror films, but I may watch it.

I'm a christian, and just seeing the little preview of it litterally made me sick. There is just something wrong about that film.
