We call it Christmas, but we don't view it as a Christian holiday. My family's spread out far and wide, and Christmas has just become the traditional time for us to connect again, and to reach out to those less fortunate.
I have many Jewish friends, and in the last few years, to honor them because they mean so much to me, we've started displaying a menorah as a show of solidarity. We share in their customs and traditions, learn about their culture. At least one of the family members will stop by to light the candles, and I have no problem with them reciting a prayer if they so choose.
My kids play dreidel with theirs, and their kids help to decorate my Christmas tree. A lot of people disagree with how the holidays are celebrated in my house, but we see it as a way to show honor and respect, one for the other.

Because the festive aspects of the German-American Christmas, including the tree, were considered pagan, the Puritans in New England shunned them until about 1875.

I go through the motions of Christmas because my family and society in general forces me to. So I have just resolved to go with it and have fun. But it means little to me. A full moon night is more meaningful to me personally. And to watch the seasons change.

I celebrate Yule. (winter solstice)
We also give gifts around Christmas for the rest of my family.
Holidays are fun and a great time to share with your family and friends.

My personal family (hub and son) celebrate Yuletide. Hub is agnostic, I'm Pagan... I think he just does it to get extra presents. hehe And then we celebrate Christmas with both of our families, as they are all Christian (with the exception of my dad who's agnostic and doesn't give a s.hit).
