So I asked this; http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArpOrMZnXHGUkdfAubnedEbsy6IX?qid=20060925071649AAiJHTi

Summary: would you believe me if I said God impregnated me. I got many amusing answers & some odd ones but this was cherry on the cake;

*You are nuts. God does not look upon people like you, let alone say those things to them. He will not look upon sin or the sinner.
You are confusing Him with Satan, who is your father.

John 8:44 {insert annoying bible quote here}

IF you do not accept Jesus as your savior and do not believe in God, you belong to Satan. - Carol M*

WOW! I ask a simple hypothetical question - whether people would believe me or think I just got knocked up and was embarrassed (hence making up God came to me).

My question you ask? AlleyCat said something that made me think. Does it say it anywhere that God COULDN'T have another kid? Why does it seem so unlikely that God could indeed knock up someone else? He *IS* God and could do anything..

Like I said - Why WOULDN'T God pick a non-believer. Best way to convert the masses is to start with a sceptic!

What is it with C. M people being ***** to Night here? First Carol M makes the post in question, then Casey M comes in and he's a dick to her here...

Not only do most of you fail to be funny, you're failing to answer her question or be civil.

Night, I defended you in the other thread and I am defending you now. Even by their own religion, they do not have the right to be saying things like that to you. It is expressly stated in the Bible:

"Judge not, lest ye be judged," as well as:

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." These people seem to carry stones about just in case they ever need to cast one.

WDJD: Way to quote a terrible movie series with a terrible message that only Christians are worth anything.

YIKES girlfriend!! I didn't think people in the looney bin were allowed access to computers....hehehe! Yeah that's a good point that I'd have to agree with there....If there is a "god" who's to say that she couldn't have more than one kid? hehehe How Ironic that that girl called you nuts! So, if he doesn't look upon sin or the sinner....does she think she is perfect?? that's not what her own bible says....her own bible says that NONE are without sin...so there is no hope for her either....hopefully she will be in a different section of hell than us...LMAO!!

Naturally, any god worth the name can do anything, even break the rules that the christians attribute to him/her/it.

And ever since Eve, women have been known to be -- shall we say, occasionally vague about where they got their babies. Why, then, should it be surprising that a knocked-up girl should give credit to the almighty?

"Confusing him (god) with Satan"? I'm almost certain this constitutes blasphemy. I don't suppose it would be any use to point this out to the answerer, though.... :-)

Fun question!

I think there are 2 possible reasons they wouldn't believe you...

1. The refuse to think that in their "holiness", god would pick someone "unholy" like you. Nothin but EGO.

2. They realize deep down that the whole thing is a farce.

And Carol M needs to be on medication, I think =)

That would ruin their little "perfect" circle they have going. This is akin to me asking (not here... chatrooms) that if God has 3 offices (God, Son, Holy Spirit) and yet God is infinite, can't he have infinite manifestations? That's what I got called DemonSpawn.

And Satan being your father, according to them, makes us sisters. I'm DemonSpawn. *wink*

There is no need for another savior, because Jesus paid the price for all who would accept it. So for God to perform another immaculate conception would be pointless.

I was your average, person, a very “nice guy.” I loved my mom and dad, had a decent home, played little league, and even went to church. Whenever I thought about life after death I had no fears at all. After all, I believed in God and Jesus… and I thought I was a pretty good person. I felt that if anyone could end up in Heaven, I probably would. Then came the shock of a lifetime! Let me explain by asking you a couple of questions…
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments.
What a shock! God didn’t see me as the “nice guy” I imagined myself to be… and he doesn’t see you that way either. Nothing you’ve ever done is hid from His holy eyes. Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? Listen to your conscience. You know that you will be guilty, and therefore end up in Hell. That’s not God’s will. He provided a way for you and I to be forgiven.
He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so pray something like this: "Dear God, I repent of all of my sins (confess them). This day I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."
you see, when we look at Gods law we have sined against God and have engered him by our transgressions, but Dont flee to the savior simply out of fear of Hell, flee to the cross because God has been so kind an merciful he died for you and I anyway, despite our sins. God Bless

Matthew 6:24- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (sucks to be you)
