taking for granted that there will be someone who can be labelled as antichrist (against christ/christianity) could it be possible that this person is has been chosen by god to clean out a religion that has gone malignant?
sorry to offend people who believe, but the simple fact is that it is a religion that has drastically veered off the path of spiritual enlightenment, and while no religion is perfect, it does seem to be the most arrogant, with islam a close second.

ALL who deny that Jesus is the Christ, who deny the Father and the Son is anti (against) Christ. (1 Jn.2:18, 1 Jn.2:22, 1 Jn.4:3, 2 Jn.1:7 below).

You question implies that you are an Antichrist, and I certainly am, and so are millions of others!
So what, is that some sort of big deal??
Out of all the BS religions in the world the Christian religion is the most unbelievable of the lot, you only have to assess the 'facts' of the religion, Jesus was (and is) God! Jesus is his own Son! Jesus is the Holy Spirit!
If any 'Christian' does not believe all these 'facts' then they are not a Christian!
If they are not a Christian they are an Antichrist!
It really is amusing to read the quotes from the bible among your replies ref' Antichrist. The world is certainly full of all sorts of nutters!

The fact that so many people believe that there is going to be one man who holds this kind of a position is puzzling. If they actually studied their bibles, they'd know that the definition of the anti-Christ isn't about a singular person. Go ahead I challenge anyone who wants to argue that fact to go read exactly what has been written in their bibles about it.

with islam a close second. sounds like you already know the answer to this one. the Bible use the word papacy to describe the home of the antichrist and the Bible also states the the mark of the beast is the mark of a man. the Bible says that a house of satan divided among itself cannot stand. the pope is trying as we speak to mend the problem between the catholic community and the islamic community. I am not a christian, I am not spiritual, but i am not dumb either.

Bush. He uses Christianity to wage war. War is incompatible with the teachings of Christ. Christianity has been perverted to become a tool of evil. He who kills in the name of Christ is the Antichrist. Christianity turn a hard turn away from Christ the day Christ died. I would imagine that Christ would rather hang on the cross than have his name used to support war.

Its all a myth based on a few historical facts so old that you cant even be sure the the accuracy of those. So if you don't worry about any more and get on with your life you will be much better off
