Absolutely not!! Why should they stop??? "God" is the most logical concept ever, it's a concept built in each one of us... only some people however are enlightened and open-minded enough to take the debate into territories that would open up the doors of truth for them...

not at all for two reasons
they may want to ask questions to justify their own belief that there is no God and in questioning it may come across some thought provoking reasons for or against
and also by asking questions of the theist , the theist is thus able to question their own beliefs even more .... providing a means to strengthen or adjust their own beliefs ...
we need each other really

Absolutely. The existence of a deity cannot be approached in logical terms.
However, the texts that are ascribed to deities (the Torah, the Bible, the Quran, the Bagavhad Gita, etc...) can be put to the test of logic.
Funny... they all fail the test.
Hmmmmm... does kinda make you wonder about whatever deity MIGHT be out there then...

Well no, because there will always be people growing up who are amenable to rational arguments. Older people are less likely to be swayed by logical arguments but the younger generation will look at alternative worldviews, and if yours makes more sense then that's what will prevail.

Interesting question for which I have no logical answer. Then again, applying logic to the question...
Stifling any intellectual quest or pursuit, be it religious or otherwise, smacks of totalitarianism.

No, sometimes it strikes a chord with them. Comparing logic to faith is the only way to break the truth to them. Otherwise, you will simply be their enemy. You're never going to argue that your way is a better way.
All you can do is show them the truth.

Right. You want to send children a consistent message. Don't scold them for picking their nose one time, then let it slide next time, or it will never stick.
