Ignore him completely...don't be rude or ugly to him, just flat out act like your breaking up was the best thing in the world for you. Say hi like you would to anyone that you had seen before, but not like you would a friend. Talk and laugh with other people, don't look to see if he is looking, he will be... He will start to wonder how in the world you are happy without him and how you could be getting along when he was no longer with you... He will either come chasing you or you will see that you don't need him in the first place...
