You may have waited too long as cats can get fixated on their food as early as two to three months.
Try chopping up a raw chicken wing into three to four pieces (if it has the tip), a very small amount of raw chicken liver, raw chicken hearts and gizzards (I alway trim the gizzards up a bit as they are quite tough, even moreso than the bones in the wing.) He may like all or some part of this meal. It is all good for him.
If he will chew on bone you will never have a problem with his teeth.
The wing has lean muscle meat, a little fat from the skin, and calcium in the bone, the liver is rich in vitamin A, the hearts and gizzard are rich in taurine, essential for the cat. This is a well-balanced heathy meal for your kitten and the best possible food for him because it is raw -- cooking destroys many important nutrients. There is no serious risk of contamination with these chicken parts. Never use ground meat! That's where you can have a contamination problem. Never used any cooked bones, those are the ones that may splinter and cause problems so none of your KFC. It is too fatty anyway.
Any cooked meat without bone is something a cat may like, roast beef, chicken (no bones with cooked chicken), pork, lamb, etc. in small amounts. This doesn't have the benefits of raw food and he may enjoy it. I never share sweets, pizza or any spiced or salted food. Ham isn't good for them and they will love a little taste of cooked bacon or ham.
I feed my cats a home-made raw meat diet and have for seven years.

Except for small morsels as treats it's not a good idea to give kitty much human food. Cats have different nutritional requirements that we do, and our food doesn't meet their needs.
You are right, though, in wanting to put some variety in kitty's diet. But do it with cat food.
Read this and you'll know more about feline nutrition and feeding your cat than most vets, and you'll also find information about specific foods:

As for human food treats, the general rule of thumb is that meat is good.

I have found that most cats don't care for human food but you can try a few things, like mine like tuna from the can and one like spaghetti sauce. They like popcorn too but the just bat it around for a while and then hide it. Give him a little taste of what he may sniff at to try and figure out what it is .. Don't be surprised if he doesn't eat any human food and then just stock up on a variety of different cat food flavors

Give it whatever you want. But do realize that cats don't have the same body and digestive system as humans do.
The reason we give them CAT FOOD. What a concept!
If you do decide to give human food, good luck cleaning the litter because it most likely with give your cat the runs.

DO NOT FEED A 4 MONTH OLD CAT HUMAN FOOD! When the kitty gets older it can have LEAN meats like boiled chicken, but it is probably best to leave the kitty with car food unless you want to risk making the cat sick.

it isn't healthy to give a cat human food, though I have been known on a small occation to pick off a small piece of my hamburger and feed it to my 2 cats. I will only do that a couple of times a year.

Never feed any pets human food. They cant digest it as well as us, and it makes them fat. I work in a veterinary clinic and see plenty of dogs and cats that eat human food. They are very fat and they have failing kidney's, livers and they have diabetes. Cats and dogs should only eat their own food.
