I am no expert but I do believe that there is a form of autism that the person can become violent and hurt themselves or others. I would check on this with a doctor.

autism is a disorder in which the brain absorbs and reacts to information very differently from a "normal" brain. a violent reaction is possible, but it would depend on the extent of a persons condition, the stimulus being absorbed by their brain and they way their brain decides to interpret it.
