Depends on where you are , if you are in a cold state you can throw a winter wonderland party , have fake snow every wear , a snowman etc, in January some places are still cold. If you are in Fla like me or any other hot states you can throw a Hawaiian party. or a black & white party , if the guests are not in those colors they have to leave. Oh yeah these ideas are mainly for girls. For a boy I don't know what kind of theme would be good especially at that age

For my daughter's 14th birthday, she wanted to have a "boy/girl party. We rented a local meeting room at our community center. She was allowed to invite up to 15 girls and 15 boy, of course they "all" didn't show up but she still had about 25 friends there. I ordered a cake, bought drinks, chips, and snack. We played some really cool games (boys against girls, relay races, musical chairs, a dance contest) A friend of mine came in as D.J. I thought she might think it was "childish" but it was a huge hit!! Everyone had a blast! Hope this helps.

is your kid a boy or a girl. What about going to play paint ball? You could throw a party making it a formal having boys and girls and do like a dance type thing. Good luck!

go somewhere with ur friends, like somewhere everybody'll have fun, then get back home and make a bombastic party...or u can ask someone to make u a huge surprise, like ur friends and stuff... u could make the porr guy that is not in mood to have a party and u'll see who r the true friends that'll make u a huge surprise, gifts... at least buy a cake and invite them for that.... u'll see i guess...
