It (That Bible story) is now scientifically proven, but we now know the few differences. Back then, they could only describe it as blood. They of course did not have the science to explain things yet. And unexplainable things throughout history were blamed on God. However, we know it to be sulpher that turned the color of the water. And many people did get sick.
A huge volcano erupted causing the water to turn red (sulpher), fire raining down, the sky turning to darkness (ash), the swarms of locusts and flies, etc...
This is by no means disproving that God caused all this, because if anything, it shows HOW God DID it.

The River Nile was turned red by sulfur being released by the earthquake and volcano eruption on Santorinni. Each of the plagues can be scientifically proved---caused by this horrific event.

The miracle was not that the plagues happened, but that the Israelites were there at the time it all happened.

It has also been proved that Thutmose (translated Brother of Moses) was Pharaoh when this all happened, and not Ramses II, as the Bible says. Recently, even a big tablet was found naming all the plagues that happened during his reign, and at this time. It is all fabulous discoveries on history.

The plague did not last very long. All of the ten plagues that are recorded in Exodus were aimed at ten gods of Egypt. The Nile being turned to blood was aimed at the God of the Nile Nubus, the crocodile god.

The children of Israel survived by God's grace during this time, for the plagues were intended to demonstrate to the Pharaoh that God "had Israel's back" and that things would only get worse for Egypt if Pharaoh didn't cooperate.

Why haven't you noticed that the Egytpian priests copied the
first few "magical" acts that Moses and Aaron did? We waste to
much time ridiculing to learn anything.
