Dear Louise, Please KNOW that God never intended sickness and death to come into the world. Once it did, however, he immediately provided a solution. The resurrection, based on the sacrifice of the perfect human life of his son, Jesus Christ, will undo all the effects of sin and death in the world. Also, God does not "take" anyone. He has allowed this time to show us the contrast between man's rulership with Satan's backing and rulership directly by him as he intended. Do not be misled into becoming discouraged by the time that passes. God will resurrect your dad and you will again be with him, but this time in a world free of Satan, death, sickness, violence, etc. Hang in there!! Your friend, Julie

Strength comes from accepting reality as it is, even if you don't like it, not from deluding yourself that everything will be ok.

You will never complete the grief process if you deny reality.
