I too suffer from this and understand how miserable it can be. After years of different painkillers, (which made them worse ) I discovered that I had a problem with my jaw. Firstly I grind my teeth at night and secondly my jaw was dislocated when I had a wisdom tooth removed, so occassionally it pops out. The dentist has now made me a night brace and I have osteopathy on my jaw once a week. I now just get the occassional headache, which responds well to normal painkillers.

Headache can be caused by several things, maybe eye strain, sinusitis or depression, however sometimes dehydration and caffeine withdrawal can cause headache, too.
From what your description, you might have tension headache where tension in facial or neck muscle. However please seek professional help because sometimes headache might be a symptoms to specific deceases, might be sinusitis, stroke or even tumors.. If it happen quite constantly do check up immediately as it is better to find it sooner before it is too late..
Some headache problems can be handled by consuming aspirin, paracetamol / acetaminophen , or ibuprofen..
However rumors said consuming paracetamol is not good for your liver over time, but i still think its OK if occasionally consumed, because over dose can cause death.
Some also said that its not good to take paracetamol especially you have gastric problem.
I got an email from a friend how to handle headache other than consuming paracetamol,
1.buy 1 or 2 cans of isotonic drink ( eg.100PLUS), and mix
it with drinking water according to a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (simply, it means one cup 100plus, one cup water.or 2 cups water).
2.submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so
that it bring the blood pressure down from your throbbing head.
but it is not proved yet.. i also asked the same thing in other forum, not satisfying reply yet. However the second method is similar to Chinese/Jewish traditional method of healing, reflexology.
Hope you feel better..

I'd junk the glasses. If they aren't working anyway, all they can do is cause eyestrain.
I used to get headaches like this all the time when I was chronically abusing alcohol. So maybe it's time to put down them OTHER glasses too, and switch to water, gatorade, salt, and Vitamin B for a while...
Of course, that may not be anything like your lifestlye, I just thought maybe...

It could be that you are allergic to something you are using or eating on a daily basis. A bit to the extreme maybe but certain red wines, give me a headache that lasts for days even if I only have two or three sips, but I don't know what particularly it is that causes it.
You do need to go to your GP though

I agree with janbull, you should have it checked out. It might be nothing at all. But just recently, I have been getting continual headaches, I already wear glasses, but the doctor told me to go for another eye check up. As a result, the optician had me in having tests for 2 hours and now they are referring me to hospital. Apparently, they have found something behind my right eye. Not knowing what it is, I now have to wait for the hospital to send for me. Hope yours clears up, it is really unpleasant.

Maybe you don't drink enough water. I used to have headaches all the time. My doctor told me to drink more water. Feeling a lot better now. You could try it, if doesn't work for you, go and see a doctor.

You truly do have my sympathy as I too suffer likewise. I have tried 4head and tiger balm. Both help to relieve the symptons but not take the headache away completely. I have one at the moment and it's making me feel sick as well.
Hope you soon feel better.

I have been suffering from constant head aches for years. I have seen a specialist who has tried me on numerous types of medication, and has sent me for a CT scan. No pills have helped and the scan results were clear. I have basically been told to carry on my life in constant pain. Sorry I cant help, but if you hear of any other cures....let me know please.
