Look in the want ads or go to locations that interest you and ask if they are accepting applications for the positions you want to work at.

Look in the paper for something that interests you. Always easier if you love what you're doing. My best one was a prep cook. All day, slicing and dicing and making food! Time flew!

Also check into temp agencies. I had a nice gig where I could wear whatever I wanted and just package candles and wine. Easy as pie.
