Improving an IQ is not really a possibility in the truest sense, IQ, or intelligence quotient rates the mental age of a child in proportion to chronological age. This is really more of a natural/genetic condition. However, you can affect your childs chances for academic success by encouraging learning in your home, by reading, turning off the tv once in a while, taking your child to museums, zoos, and other educational activities that will get him/her excited about learning

The simple answer is...You can't...IQ is of course short for Intelligence Quotient and is the natural born ability of an individual to figure things out. Many times people confuse IQ with education or level of intelligence and they are not the same. It is said that an IQ test given to a six year old will have the same results as that same person taking an IQ test 20 years later. Have you ever noticed that they always ask age when taking IQ tests? You can certainly raise your child's education and ability to learn, but not IQ.

Hi..
There are lot of ways to improve the child IQ.
We know that the child thinking like adults have more IQ.
So let them think like adults...That is the way to improve their IQ.
For this a lot of ways are there. For example:

1. Give them complicated Maths problems...
2. Show them some pictures and ask to think about it...
3. Practice them to count numbers from 100 to 0...
4. Practice them to recite and by heart alphabets from Z to A...
5. Do sex infront of them. So they will get the idea of Sex in small age and their IQ will improve.

These all things we can apply with them...

A child's IQ depends upon heredity, personality traits , exposure and stimulation from environment. we can only provide the child with effective environment which helpls the child to grasp things and aquire knowledge but not drastically change his IQ. Lot majority of us have IQs ranging between 90 and 115.. Though all children look normally smart, definitely there will be a difference between a child whose IQ is 95 and another who has 108.

IQ is an innate thing. You are born with whatever IQ you have. That said, IQ really tests how fast you learn, not how smart you are. The best thing you can do to help your child is read to him/her A LOT. Teach your child to love reading. That way he/she will be able to read about any subject any time. Also, expose your child to new places, people, and ideas. And never talk down to your child, treat him/her like an adult. (but dont discuss inappropriate topics, either. Remeber, respect your child as a human person, but he/she is still a child!)

Dear

IQ means intelligent Quotient

Every child inhereits the traits of his parents that eventually leads to his own personal traits[ to some extent] like habits etc., but intelligent quotient is a perfect blend of traits you inherit and personal experience you get through life gradually. So, in total IQ is sum of experience past plus ready information.

How you can improve Hmmmm !!!That is tough !!!

As my personal view is that the face of the unknown is the best ability to check the "IQ" which includes both criterion of experience and ready information[ which gradually becomes the ready information].

So, IQ is the only temptation or readiness of any person to face the unknown, in any circumstances, be it may a new question or new situation or problem. If you want to increase the "IQ "then you must throw or create situations of unknown in front of your child everyday!! you may experiment with provide him keys to open a lock or give him work that he never does[ this depends of age] and it should be very new to him, that is checking his ability to face the unknown at any time.

More over it may cover any aspect like in studies you can say him to write in opposite manner from 10 to 1 which may lead a situation that he never anticipates from you and see his ability to solve this instantly or opting himself out [ yes you can check this here!!}

So, facing the unknown and willingness to face unknown may increase the IQ.[ i think]
Or if there any other way out pl tell me also.
Regards

IQ mainly based on environment & genes.
we can only do that , give him better environment.

we have, UCMAS & AlOHA the brain development centres so u make him join .

Let him do whatever he does , watch and if he is wrong just guide him how to deal with. Mostly, we always disturbs don't do that don't do this or only
work like this & that.
Give him so many books, educational games CD / VCDs and let him select what he wants to play, or read . I 've 5 yrs. old son, I simply do that I start to read books , I start to play Harmonium, and in beginning he simply watched me but now he tells me mamma , give me my books or mamma i want to play music .
If i tell or try to convince may be, he 'll not be ready to read or play so i think, it works better.

Now a days, EQ is also more imp. as well as IQ that Emotional Quotient so also insist for it. how to care, how to love for others and it also helps us to make our house 'Home'.

1.Allow your child to ask questions.

2. Don't hesitate to reply the child questions even if the question is stupid.

3. Ask the child to imagine to get creativity.

4. Give lot of mental sums without maths.

5. Give suggestions instead of advice.
