Of course it has!
In the last 26 years the US has hosted it at the following courses:
2002: Oakland Hills, Michigan
1999: Brookline, Massachusetts
1995: Oak Hill, New York
1991: Kiawah Island, South Carolina
1987: Muirfield Village, Ohio
1983: Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Back to this year's Ryder Cup: bad luck in coming SECOND to a team from little-old Europe, but we WHUPPED your BEHINDS something GOOD
(no gloating there, honest)

It's held alternately every two years in Europe and the USA, so its held in the US once every 4 years. The next Ryder Cup is being held at Valhalla, Kentucky in 2008. GO EUROPE!

You must be a newbie, post a silly question and you will be insulted. Yahoo answers is not a substitute for a basic search. Your information is readily available with about one ounce of effort.
