I assume you're talking about a career. In this case the answer really depends on your experience and risk aversion.

Data warehousing is probably easier to learn, and easier to break into, so you may have a higher likelihood of success.

However SAP probably pays better.

If your are business minded rather than purely technical, then there is far more scope in SAP than in data warehousing, but if you're strongly technical, data warehousing is probably a better bet.

SAP is better because it also does datawarehousing (check SAP BW)
