Geez, people are getting offended or defensive here. They need to realize that everyone has different opinions:
The Christian God has been deemed Male.
Wicca believes in the God and Goddess.
Islam has Allah - male
Some pagans beleve in many Gods AND Goddesses.
Buddha was male.
Novus Spiritus (agnostic christian) believes in both male and female aspects of God.
Atheists belive in No God or Goddess.
I guess the question should be, does our Supreme Being have a significant other?
And.....unfortunately, I don't think so. The whole ideal of God is the perfect being, therefore, I don't think God (or whatever you call it) would need a spouse.
I'm curious to see what others say to this one. (funny or not)

God is not referenced anywhere in Scripture as being female. However, the believers of the Church age we live in are referred to as the bride of Christ, therefore making a Christian's relationship with Him akin to marriage.

God has no gender. God is God. God is "I AM." We refer to God as the "father" because of the parental father-like nature that God has, so therefore we refer to God as "he," because it's the only way we will come close to understanding God. To be safe, don't refer to God as he or she, merely call God by its name--God.

Neither one is true, "God" does not have gender because god does not exist.
