Jesus has the key to hell, and heaven, but he gave the kingdom of heaven to Peter. Does Jesus only have the kingdom of hell, and the Pope has the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus gave the symbolic keys of heaven to Peter, showing that he was awarded life in heaven. Jesus has the keys to death and hell. What does that mean?
Well, it means that Jesus will soon open up hell by means of the resurrection. Hell is where all people go when they die, for it is only the common grave. Hell will be emptied when God gives his Son the authority to raise both the just and the unjust from hell.
Then, those resurrected to life here on earth will be tested one last time. They will have to prove their loyalty to God and his Son and adhere to God's righteous standards while living under one government---God's Kingdom.

That Jesus holds the keys of death and hell is stated in Revelation 1:18. "Holds the keys" means that he has defeated the power of death and hell.

As far as Peter having the keys to the kingdom of heaven, that is not stated anywhere in the Bible. A scripture used as try to support that idea is Matthew 16:18. Jesus is talking to his disciples and ask them who people say He is. After the others list John, Elijah, or one of the prophets. Peter says "You are the Christ, the son of the Living God". Jesus agrees, telling Peter he is blessed. And that the knowledge that Jesus is the Son of God was divinely given to Peter.

Then Jesus says, "You are "Peter" and on the rock I will build my church".

The word "Peter" in Greek is "petros" and means a little stone or pebble. So it has been claimed that Jesus was saying Peter was the "rock" on which his church would be build. Therefore it is believed that the "keys" or authority of the church have been given to Peter. This is the standard Catholic understanding of the verse.

Most other churches teach that the "rock" on which the church was build is the revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God. And that calling Peter a "pebble" meant he was one who knew and followed this revelation. Like the word "Christian" which means "little Christ" came to mean the followers of Christ, so calling Peter a "little rock" meant he was a follower of the belief that Jesus was the Christ or Messiah.

Note that the scripture in Revelation was spoken by Jesus about 60 years after the words in Matthew. And at the later date Jesus stated that He (not Peter or the Pope) still held the keys.

I Always read the scriptures, that JESus gave PEter the keys to keep. Until JESus returns for them.
You cannot take nothing to heaven.. That goes for JESus Son of GOd too. HE would not break His Fathers Word... “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matthew 6:20). ONLY Treasure we take is THE WORD etched on Our Soul/HEArt.. JESus returns an RUles his 1000 year reign. THE KEY will be needed to open the pit. Where Michael will Fight the demon once again, cHAIN hIM, AN CAST HIM INTO FIRY PIT OF haDES/HELL. PeTER WAS MADE THE ROCK OF THE CHURCH,ONLY IN JeSUS ABSENCE.
JeSUS IS THE FOUNDATION CORNER STONE.

No. That is a pagan belief of Catholics. The RCC has some pretty strange interpretations of scripture.
