Okay, since primary school i've fancied this girl, and then straight to high school. But i never ever told her i liked her more than a friend. She left in year 11 and i haven't spoken to her since, but i've seen her around while driving but never managed to stop and talk to her. Within these last couple of year i had several girlfriends and only remebered her in my dreams (i know it sounds corny- but it's true) Now 3 and half years later, my sister met her and they started to talk and when she mentioned my name she suddendly became happy. She told my sister where she works, so here the problem, what should I do? Should I forget about her or should I go to her workplace and see her. Any advice would be grateful.

Go and see her, if she got happy when your name was mentioned theres gotta be some feelings there. Whats the worst that could happen at least you'll know where you stand.

Tell you what, im in exactly the same situation, nearly. I went out with a girl in year 11 for 2 years, and we split, and over the last 5 years, i have never forgot her, always think about her, and wish i could meet up with her again. I sounds like you really LIKE this person, and if i were you, i would go and see her, because i might be too late to tell her how you feel, then you'll regret it for the rest of your life. What have you go to lose, apart from rejection, at least you've tried.

It seems quite obvious what you should do. Rejection is better that never knowing what could have been. I would be a little wary about going to see her at work so I am sure your sister is a better conduit to pass the message on if you have not go the bottle to phone her.
How do you know she is in the same situation and is too afraid to speak to you?

Next time you see her, stop and talk to her & try to exchange numbers. Or have your sister give her your phonenumber & tell her you've been wondering what she's been up to over the years & she should give you a call. If she's interested, you'll hear from her.

dont go to her workplace, you'll seem a bit of a stalker! jus get her number off your sister and send her a text or somethin, you havent seen her for 3 yr so dont jump into it suddenly
