God didn't give us the creation to divide it under different names. We all are spirit souls and that's the only identity we need to practice to stay in. As all these Cast, Nationality etc. are man made Lord Vishnu doesn't say anything on this point.

Vedic culture does not give instructions based on Hindu or Muslim or Indian or American, but for all living entity.

According to Vedic literatures, the King or the ruler where allowed to keep spy. The main purpose was to be able to govern properly. The people themselves did not spy on each other. They had faith on the King.
This King however used to be the best devotee of the lord and where called "Raja Rishi" or "Saintly Kings".
Kings duty is to protect the citizen from Hurt. There are even the cases where the King used to become spy himself and used to go around the kingdom undercover to find out the truth about governance.
Media does this duty nowadays in every country....
But if the general population is not trained in ethics and restraint and are encouraged to become atheist, what would be the government like, specially if it is chosen by the general people?
Media itself going all out to promote violence and nudity... what can be proper for such a society ??
