at last count i believe the dugger family had 16 or 17 kids

I know quite a few My best friend in High school was number 3 in 10 and the year we graduated her mom was pregnant with #11 and she got pregant her self shortly after graduation. So baby brother and her daughter were only a few months apart. Also my grand mother had 10, my aunt has 12 sons.

I went to school with a girl who had 12 sisters and 1 brother - all by the same parents!
They are now on number 14! =o

My father in law is one of 14.
My mom had 9 that lived. Would have had 12.

My husband is one of ten, but he is from Malawi (SE Africa), where it isn't so uncommon. For a "celebrity" couple, look up the Duggars on Discovery Health. I believe they're on number 17.
