First off please do not assume that because someone here claims to be a Witness or to know Witnesses, that they really do. I know that Tina is not a Witness.
Second, I am sorry if you feel neglected. There are many possible reasons why you may not have been visited.
It may be that you were not home when one of us stopped by.
It may be that someone else in your household has asked that you not be visited anymore.
It may be that your house has yet to be visited but is in the rotation.
I know that sometimes I have not called on a derelict home, in other words, if there is no car in the yard, the grass is a foot high, etc. it may be that they mistakenly assumed your house was vacant.
If you really want to know what is going on I suggest you go to your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and ask the Service Overseer.
We do not discriminate. We will talk with all who are interested.
My nephew's mother was a wiccan, we had no problem talking with her. My Brother's Best Friend has no specific religious affiliation, my Dad and him have great discussions.
PLEASE, do not judge us by the miss informed and/or mean people who answer.

There must surely be a miscommunication.
Perhaps a housemate or an earlier homeowner requested that your address be placed on a 'Do Not Visit' list. Perhaps a nearby "No Tresspassing" sign seems to apply to your property.
Perhaps they have rung your doorbell, and the doorbell does not work well or at all. Perhaps their knocks have not been heard while you were home. Perhaps you have not been home when Jehovah's Witnesses have attempted their visits.
Territory is typically covered street by street, so perhaps your home seems to be "on the cross-street" and so is missed from both. Perhaps you have a dog which intimidates door-to-door preachers (eventually they would attempt to reach you by phone or mail). Perhaps your gates are locked, or there seem to be obstacles positioned specifically to block approach to the home.
As the questioner mentions, Jehovah's Witnesses would ideally initiate conversation also while walking from house to house, but in practice many Witnesses are mentally reviewing their Scriptural presentation and so they may not even notice passersby.

It is wierd and seems that particular church is slacking off a bit, if you were in a more enthusiastic one like the one close to where I grew up they'd have visited you a couple of times, but a lot of them do the preaching out of obligation not really a strong personal desire.
They map out areas and make sure they cover it all so probably they came knocking when you weren't there, besides if they get a really bad response from most in an area then its possible they just take its not worth going back to every not-at-home door.

In many large urban areas, the local congregation has a hard time covering their entire territory. It can take years before it is completely covered, and then they start over again. It is most likely that you simply missed the visist they may have paid you. If you sincerely wish to speak to a Jehovah's Witness, Jehovah will be sure that you do. Feel free to stop any Witness you see and ask them why you seem to have been overlooked.

.. we are not a CULT we follow what are god Jehovah says in the Bible at Psalms 83:18. But you said that you wanted them to come to your door? Well The best thing to do is wait outside for them. Have you ever got any of their literature? If you have their is a little pice of paper on the back of some Watchrowers that you can fill out and mail to the socirty in Brooklyn NY.

Why would you be grateful that they haven't? I am not one of Jehovah's Witnesses but I do like to learn about all different types of religions. I think learning about God is a very powerful thing and I have some family members who are Jehovah's Witnesses I always go to her for advice , she always talk about knowing about the truth and the more and more I read the bible it just amazes me. SO when they do come knocking on your door take it as God wants to talk to you and all he wants is for you to listen, If you do however tell them to go away, Trust and believe they will and not come back.

Maybe you are evil to them and they don't want to knock on your door. Why would you have a problem with anyone, let alone Jehovah's witnesses. After all, it does state in the bible that GOD's name is Jehovah. You should talk to some of them, you might learn something.

If someone else is in your house, they might have told them to not come back.
OR if someone who lived in that house before told them never to come back, they might have put your house on a "do not go" list and they'll skip over your house.

I studied their religion with them for a couple of years. It took me 5 years to get deprogrammed from it. Be glad they do not knock. If they do just talk a lot about Jesus and getting the Holy Ghost and they will run.

They never knock on my door either. If you see them before I do, tell them to give me a knock.
