I found this answer for you, hope it helps:

A study conducted by the US Department of Agriculture’s Nutrient Data Laboratory calculated the percentage of alcohol remaining in a dish based on various cooking methods. The results are as follows:

Preparation Method Percent of Alcohol Retained
alcohol added to boiling liquid & removed from heat 85%
alcohol flamed 75%
no heat, stored overnight 70%
baked, 25 minutes, alcohol not stirred into mixture 45%
baked/simmered, alcohol stirred into mixture:
15 minutes
40%
30 minutes
35%
1 hour
25%
1.5 hours
20%
2 hours
10%
2.5 hours
5%

Now, it may be that the amount of alcohol in a dish is modest to start with, but the fact that some of the alcohol remains could be of significant concern to recovering alcoholics, parents, and others who have ethical or religious reasons for avoiding alcohol.

Madeleine Kamman, James Peterson and some of our other cooking heroes may be on the mark when stating that the harshness of the alcohol burns off quickly. But the alcohol itself is clearly another matter.

It depends on the amount of alcohol you plan on using for cooking. However, you should be fine. Some of the alcohol will evaporate or burn off during the cooking process. The remaining amount per portion will probably be much less than a normal serving size of a cocktail/glass of wine.

I would not worry about it.

As such a comprehensive answer has already been given (although if you cook any alcohol for long enough it ALL completely evaporates) I was wondering why you were taking the tablets.
I thought Garfield wasn't into drugs.

You would be fine for using it for cooking purposes as the alcohol boils at a very low temperature and disappears but the flavor will remain.

If it's a small amount and you cook thoroughly you should be OK as the alcohol would evaporate, but how important is it to use an alcoholic additive to your cooking, really?

Most of it will cook out, but, personally, I wouldn't mess with that sort of thing.

of cause it doesn't, it just evaperates when heated, even at just above freezing, but its best not to use it for cooking, just wait, its only 14 days after all

After a few pints you won't care about putting it in your food.

no, you really shouldn't. It's quite dangerous even if it is only a small amount, don't risk it.
