Dont you think this Petrus Romanus is the italian prime minister Romano Prodi. While you consider this look at the prophecies of st. malachi and compare it with Romano Prodi's history.

The Catholic Church has not declared the prophecies as divinely inspired.
Some modern scholars even think they are a forgery.

I remember hearing something about that. I think, according to someone I know who read those prophecies, there are 13 more popes, not one. Or something like that.
