Use an adheasive for panneling.

be sure to paint your beadboard before installation. use PowerGrab adhesize then nail in place with finishing nails. be sure to sink the mails with a nail set then cover the holes with a little wood putty. then use some paint to touch up the spots where you used the putty.

Use adhesive and then small nails.

We have bead board in our bath and it is nailed only.

It was painted before installing and then top coated after the nails were counter sunk and filled.
