I know they believe Jesus to be a great prophet , but do not acknowlege him as God in the flesh..or God himself. But does that make muslums as a whole bad people .. We can read where Jesus has fullfilled all prophesies about Him self . proving him to be the messiah . For many yrs I was under the impression that Jesus was only the son of God and not God himself I did not know about the trinity of God .. did that make me a bad person or just a person who never understood.
It unsets me to see Christians say cruel things of the Muslem people because they are not all terrorists , in fact in Turkey there is actually two forms of the muslum religion..Just like there are two forms of the Christian religion .. the ones who will win people to God through love and compassion and the ones that are wholier then Jesus himself who are quick to condem..Just look at the crusaders .. where they went through europe killing everyone who would not convert in the blink of an eye..Would that not be a form of terrorism?
When will Christian people stop being like the religeous rulers of Jesus's day ? remember Jesus was most angered by them..But had compassion on a prostitute , Do you Christians actually believe Jesus hates muslum people , or do you think He maybe wants us to win them over to himself with love and compassion, because of his love for them.?
I beleive we as Christians need to start living as Jesus lived , show love to the lost to win the lost ..
If we start actually being Christ like just maybe we will convince the muslums that Jesus really is who He claims He is ..

Islam accepts all Old Testament prophets as prophets. That is why you have Muslim names like Yakub ( Jacob) Yusuf ( Joseph). Islam accepts Jesus as a prophet , but not as son of God.

They believe in a bastardized version of Jesus, the same as the rest of their beliefs.

Jesus is much more then a mere prophet, He is God.

They believe He was a prophet, but not as great a prophet as Mohammed. Also, they don't believe in His substitutional death on the cross nor in His resurrection. Therefore their beliefs are in-compatible with Biblical Christianity.

Islam- Jesus was just a prophet (a man)
Christian- Jesus was God made flesh for the once for all sacrifice for human kind.

Don't try to find commonality when it's actually the biggest difference between the two.

I am very aware of this. They do not know who he is and do know what he says of himself.
Islam is a combination of judaism, christianity, mid eastern mystisism and selection of the Moon God Allah.
There are even Genies in the Koran , called Gins.

There were once the Idols of 350 Gods in Mecca. Muhammad got it down to 5. Allah the Moon God, His wife the Son Goddess and the three daughters of Allah,Al-uzza, Al-lat, and Manat.

They later bacame believers in one God Allah, not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

They acknowledge Jesus as a prophet but dont believe anything He said, makes you wonder why they would call him a prophet in the 1st place

Muslims do not believe in Jesus Christ as God and their acceptance of Him as a prophet only does not constitute acceptance of Jesus as Lord, God and Savior.

They only think he was a prophet and a lesser one to Mohamed at that. They ignore the Deity of Christ

People worshiped Him
The Apostles worshiped Him
He did many Miracles
He was crucified for declaring Himself God
He rose from the dead on the third day.

Compare that to Mohamed, if you dare.
