Sadly, it exists. There are any number of reported cases of Parent/Child (usually as part of a abusive household). Though you hear more often of Father/Daughter since we as a societ EXPECT to hear more. We generally deny the existance of Mother/Son until it's forced on us. Mom is supposed to be good and sweet and all that.
Brother/Sister is also fairly common. People come forward all the time. There are even some reported cases (interesting ones) of Half-Siblings and Separated-by-Adoption Siblings meeting later as young adults and "falling for each other."
These types of relationships (is there a better word?) seem to be more prevalent in areas that are more rural. And for some reason, seem to be more common in Ohio and Florida. At least it was up through the 90's. I haven't heard latest statistics.

I don't have such a relationship but I have two friends whose fathers had sexual intercourse with them from a very young age. Sadly, it does exist in this world and the problems these girls have mentally and in life now, I believe, directly come from being sexually abused as children by the people who are suppose to keep them safe. If you or someone you know is being abused in this way by a parent or anyone else, tell someone, or encourage the person to speak up and put a stop to it. Only then can you/them begin to heal.

Sadly, it happens a great deal, and it cuts across all social classes and education levels. No, it never happened to me, but as a mental health professional I have met many young people who were victims of incest. If you have ever met a 15-year-old girl who is carrying her father's child, perhaps you will understand why I support a woman's right to an abortion.

Yes. Close incest is the cause of most, if not all, birth defects. When you see s deformed person, it is odds on there was parent child incest nor brother sister incest upstream, one or two generations.

Much more than you might think, its a passed down behavior that's the really sad part of it all. The parents were abused then abuse there own children. Very hard cycle to break! If your interested check with the United-way they help train lay therapist and can provide counseling and info.

I know several people who were been sexually abused by a family member when they were children.
It is real. There are cases where things have been blown out of proportion (the Repressed Memory craze ten years ago), but it isn't uncommon. And, it happens in every society in the world.

Incest does exist in the world.....sexual abuse cases have often been identified within the confines of the family and relatives often called 'distant ' relatives....These are people who are closest to you that no one can believe happen.

It does happen, but not in my family. I've not heard of son/mother. But many cases of sexual abuse by a father to his daughter. I worked in labor and delivery and had a few young girls come in delivering their daddy's baby...with her mom at her side, excited about the baby....knowing who the daddy is!
yup....sick freaks exist!
