Whether Ratzinger is the last or not, only God knows. The important thing, when the end does come, BE READY.

According to the prophecy of St. Malachi, the only prophecy that clearly lists a definitive succession of popes, Ratzinger is the second to last pope. JPII was entitled "Laborer of the Sun" [yes, Sun, not Son]. Ratzinger is allegedly "Gloria Olivae" or "Glory of the Olive" which is widely believed to indicate he's meant to be a peace maker. The next pope, the last according to the prophecy, will be "Petros Romanos", or Peter of Rome.
There is some minor speculation that between Gloria Olivae and Petros Romanos will be a false pope. I have not myself seen any evidence for this speculation so take it with a grain of salt (as you should all prophecy, of course).

No, Catholicism has the best handle on faith.
Even though I'm an Atheist. I respect their philosophy, it's much more advanced than any other religious philosophy out there.
Simply because they admit God is unknowable. Thus they created their religious system based on that proven premise.
