Jesus said "I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me". The only way we can get to Heaven is to accept Christ, that He died for our sins. We each have to make our own decision. I know Atheist don't believe in God, or Jesus, and that belief is going to cast them into Hell. What I want you to do is look at your little child, and ask yourself if you're willing to risk your child's eternal soul on your belief. What if you're wrong, and your baby grows up with your beliefs? Are you willing to send them to Hell because you won't bend a knee, and let them learn the truth.

Your children will grow up on a foundation of beliefs they recieve as children. If you don't teach them about God, who will? If you ask God for help, He loves you, and will be there. Try reading a Bible, a good place to start is the Gospel of John.

Rethink your beliefs, look at your child, and ask yourself "How much am I willing to gamble".

I asked Atheist how much they're willing to gamble, and they've told us. Not only their souls, but the souls of their children. I'm going to ask Christians to pray for their salvation. There's only one path to Heaven, and that's through Jesus Christ.

Messiah : The Criteria

Judge for yourself:
Did Jesus fulfill ALL these criteria?

The Jewish tradition of "The Messiah" has its foundation in numerous biblical references, and understands "The Messiah" to be a human being - without any overtone of deity or divinity - who will bring about certain changes in the world and fulfill certain criteria before he can be acknowledged as "The Messiah".
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First of all, he must be Jewish - "...you may appoint a king over you, whom the L-rd your G-d shall choose: one from among your brethren shall you set as king over you." (Deuteronomy 17:15)

He must be a member of the tribe of Judah - "The staff shall not depart from Judah, nor the sceptre from between his feet..." (Genesis 49:10)

To be a member of the tribe of Judah, the person must have a biological father who is a member of the tribe of Judah.

He must be a direct male descendant of King David and King Solomon, his son - "And when your days (David) are fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who shall issue from your bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will make firm the throne of his kingdom forever..." (2 Samuel 7:12 - 13)

The genealogy of the New Testament is inconsistent. While it gives two accounts of the genealogy of Joseph, it states clearly that he is not the biological father of Jesus. One of the genealogies is through Nathan and not Solomon altogether!

He must gather the Jewish people from exile and return them to Israel -"And he shall set up a banner for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." (Isaiah 11:12)

Are all Jews living in Israel? Have all Jews EVER lived in Israel since the time of Jesus?

He must rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem - "...and I will set my sanctuary in their midst forever and my tabernacle shall be with them.." (Ezekiel 37:26 - 27)

At last check, there is NO Temple in Jerusalem. And worse, it was shortly after Jesus died that the Temple was DESTROYED! Just the opposite of this prophecy!

He will rule at a time of world-wide peace - "...they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore." (Micah 4:3)

Have you seen a newspaper lately? Are we living in a state of complete world peace? Has there ever been peace since the time of Jesus?

He will rule at a time when the Jewish people will observe G-d's commandments - "My servant David shall be king over them; and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall follow My ordinances and be careful to observe My statutes." (Ezekiel 37:24)

The Torah is the Jewish guide to life, and its commandments are the ones referred to here. Do all Jews observe all the commandments? Christianity, in fact, often discourages observance of the commandments in Torah, in complete opposition to this prophecy.

He will rule at a time when all people will come to acknowledge and serve one G-d - "And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, says the L-rd" (Isaiah 66:23)

there are still millions if not billions of people in the world today who adhere to paganistic and polytheistic religions. It is clear that we have not yet seen this period of human history unfold.

All of these criteria are best stated in the book of Ezekiel Chapter 37 verses 24-28:

And David my servant shall be king over them; and they shall all have one shepherd. they shall also follow My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Yaakov my servant, in which your fathers have dwelt and they shall dwell there, they and their children, and their children's children forever; and my servant David shall be their prince forever. Moreover, I will make a covenant of peace with them, it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, which I will give them; and I will multiply them and I will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore. And my tabernacle shall be with them: and I will be their G-d and they will be my people. Then the nations shall know that I am the L-rd who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary will be in the midst of them forevermore.

If an individual fails to fulfill even one of these conditions, then he cannot be "The Messiah." A careful analysis of these criteria shows us that to date, no one has fulfilled every condition.

Certainly NOT Jesus.

You proceed on a false assumption.
One has to already believe in the first place in order to feel any need to teach others to believe
What you refer to is a version of something called "Pascal's Wager" In brief it goes like this - "If you don't believe and you're right, no problem. If you don't believe and you're wrong, big trouble. Why not just believe, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain - it's the no-lose scenario"
Problem is - It applies to ALL religions!!
I guess I'd better raise my children as Muslims, just to be on the safe side. Oh wait, there's Judaism and Hinduism and Buddhism too! Get the picture??
To say to me - 'better be a Christian or go to hell', is like saying 'better believe in the Easter bunny or the boogie man will get you'
We all raise our children to emulate our beliefs. Atheists or non-deists believe thier view of the world is right, so why would anyone raise their children to believe something they don't belive is right??
You do as you will, and I'll do as I will. Besides, if there is a god, and that god would punish me or my children for doing what we believed was right, that's no god I have any interest in worshipping anyway.

When I was a child, I was forced to follow someone else's beliefs. As a teen, I made my own decisions about the existence of a supreme being, and became an atheist.

Now that I am a parent, and I have been for over 20 years, I allow my kids freedom of choice. Their beliefs are their own. I have no business telling them how they are supposed to think.

Emotional scare tactics do not work. I find this to be pathetic, to try to use other peoples kids in order to make a plea to their judgement.

What you seem to miss out on, is that the majority of us Non's do NOT put our own children in the same position as most Mainstream Religious people do. We do not force our beliefs on our children and actually allow them to make up their own mind as they see fit.

And how much are you willing to gamble? If You happen to be wrong, you could end up in one of the many Pagan "hells" there happen to be.... where do you think the New Test even got the idea? Greek Myth.... Hades. Geez, you use this BS, tell us to rethink our beliefs and you don't even know where you get yours from.

Take these pathetic emotional scare tactics and blow......

You will find that many atheists and agnostics like to live their life without fear paralyzing us into "accepting" certain beliefs that are only dictated by another human.
Ask yourself this question: "Are you really so scared of the very small possibility of non-believers going to hell that you would not let your child to grow up and make decisions for themselves with the brain that YOU assume was given to them by a higher power?"

The kids of atheists and agnostics aren't living this life to fear of what might happen in the next one... we're too busy living this one life that we know for sure that we have been "given".

Oh good grief. People who actually use their minds know better than your bull. Jesus was a myth, plagiarized from the older "crucified savior" legends. You've been had.

Of course, if you quit reading the bible, you won't have justification for inflicting physical harm on your child in the name of your 'god'. The bible is the major reason we don't have laws protecting those children you are so worried about from physical pain inflicted by other adults. That book needs to be kept far away from underage children.

Sounds less like a question and more general preaching.

I think it's up to the children to decide what they want. If you educate then without bias then they'll be of sound mind to decide. If you educate them with a higher opinion of the church then they'll grow up just like you.

To be honest, I'd rather take the first option, I wasn't pressured into the church and I made my own decision, I think everyone has the right to do the same.

And obviously you're willing to gamble that Zeus is going to forgive your children for you not telling them about Hera, Venus, et al. Why are you taking these chances with your children? They could be cast into Hades because of your inflexibility.

Oh, and did I mention Shiva?

But you are quoting from your own religion saying this is the only way. Whereas other religions say that they are the only way. So who is to say who is right? Unless the Divine appears before all of mankind and states which faith is real then it is up to the individual to judge for themselves which path is the true path for themselves and their children

And I would prefer it if you didn't tell me how to raise my children, that is for me to do and not you. If you want to raise your children in your tradition then so be it, but stay out of mine.

Blessed Be )O(

I don't have kids, but I'd rather them grow up and decide for themselves what they want to believe, instead of me telling them at a very young age: "Here is the truth. Believe it. OR ELSE!"

I will never understand people like you who are willing to sacrifice your (God-given, I'll add) ability to reason, question, and think for yourself for no other reason than you just want to be safe *IF* Christianity turns out to be true. If your God really does exist, then don't you think he'd want us to use the minds he gave us? Well, whenever I have kids, I'll want them to use theirs, too.
