The number 0.10 is twice as large as the number 0.05.
0.10 = 2*(0.05)
0.1 is one tenth, which is the same as 10/100. 0.05 is five one-hundredths, which is 5/100.
10/100 - 5/100 = 5/100 = 0.05
As written, 0.1 has only one significant figure, while 0.05 is said to have two significant figures.

if you were to state either of these as an answer to a question, there accuracy would be the same.
the only difference is that 0.05 would be more precise (i.e. closer to the true value) than 0.1.
As already stated by a couple of people the obvious difference is 0.05. but is this what you mean?

I hope I got your question right, since you are in the medicine section. In test results it is common to round results up to the next full number. For easier interpretation. To be more precise a test that give you an answer two point behind the point, means the test measures ten times more precise than the .1.
