I've heard health guru's say that you should drink a certain amount of PURE water each day, but I'm curious why plain water is any different than the water in something like tea? Ok, hear me out here:

I drink 8 oz. of pure water, or
I drink 10 oz. of tea (2 oz. of tea/honey content and 8 oz. of water.)

So in the scenario above, how is the 8 oz. of pure water any different than the 8 oz. of water from the tea? Sure, my kidneys need to filter the tea out of the water, but all the same, am I still not benefiting just the same from that 8 oz. of water? After kidney filtering, is the 8 oz. of water from the tea any different than the 8 oz. of pure water?

This might be an obvious answer, so go easy, ok? I'm just curious...

All the qualities of the "pure" water are still there when you add things to it, you are not taking anything away from it, just adding to it, those health nuts are saying that to scare people into thinking they can't add unhealthy things to it which doesn't seem to work so they figure if they stress the word "pure" they can take advantage of the average americans desire to stay healthy. I have been investigating these kind of things for over 10 years and have never found a proof that adding any teas, or even coffee take any of the healthy benefits away from the "pure" water. The way I see it is Live you life the way you want to, just eat healthy while you're doing it.

you could drink adequate water to make your self ill or in some severe circumstances die yet eating organic H20 won't kill you. The astronauts drink it all the time. they do no longer take plenty water into area rather they take Hydrogen and Oxygen and combine it in whats noted as a gas cellular. It produces electrical energy and extremely organic water. The undesirable concern approximately organic water is that it has no longer style. Minerals upload reliable style on occasion and are frequently reliable for you . I as quickly as had spring water that had a candy style to it . It replaced into rather chilly and replaced into it reliable. Distilled water is likewise inebriated without occurrence and has rather no style. So till your an alien type the action picture indications it won't harm you.

I think the tea counts too. I heard something about this before. That you should a glass of water for every caffeine drink you take in. Good questions...

The water is supposed to aid in the cleansing of all of your organs. They just have to work to eliminate the other portions of the tea if it's not plain water.

They tell you cold water because you metabolism slightly increased to bring the water to body temp.

I think you answered your own question.

Anything with caffeine in it isn't considered water intake as it is diuretic and dehydrates you.

Certain amount means to drink liquid (and itsnot onlly water) as much as you feel need. I am not some doctor but for many years I read a lot about healthy leaving, also I am vegetarian.
But try that to be water or fresh fruit juices (without sugar) or tea without coffein (bancha). Among these, water like no other, cleans your body from toxins, gives you fresh look.

Now this is just my opinion but , once you add the 2 oz. of tea the water is not pure anymore. Once you add anything to your water it takes it pureness away.

The fluid consumption includes drinks and fluid in foods. I have alwayss thought the 8 glasses a day ridiculous, because they make it seem you need all that in just water.
