First of all two year olds are slowing down on the rapid growing that occurred up until now and don't need quite as much food as they did before. With children I have found that observing an eating streak is usually followed by a growth spurt. Two year olds are also learning that they are an individual and want to assert some independence and that could be being anti to anything you suggest. Make good food choices available, limit overfilling with fluids and allow a number of smaller "meals" throughout the day. If by chance your child still takes a bottle or carries around a sippy cup get rid of it. Use utensils and portion sizes appropriate to your child. Insist your child sit with the family at meals but don't force eating, they will eat when ready but the routine is good. Most of all be patient, if your child is hungry eating will occur and above all relax and enjoy your child. Been there many times, I have nine children.

I don't think you can! I worried about it with my first child. Everything you read and everybody you talk to put the fear of God into you! You start to worry that they're not getting enough vitamins and they will have bad teeth, bones, hair, allsorts. With my second, I decided to give him whatever he liked to eat because at least it was something. He didn't even like milk, cheese or yoghurt. They are both fit and healthy children that catch the odd cold now and again. Don't worry, save that for if he/she stops eating all together, then there's a problem!

Two year old children are notorious picky eaters! But being a mom of three my best recommendations are. Make your snacks good healthy choices. If your child wants fruits snacks make sure they are made with 100 % fruit juice rather than junk. Have your child make the snacks with you and make believe they are something else (ie spagetti could be worms or such).

I am on my 3rd two year old. Our pediatrician once told me that you can't make kids do three things:
eat
sleep
potty.
They will eat when they are hungry.
Look at how much milk/juice/water they are getting. If it is a lot...cut back. The kiddo might be filling up on fluids and not have room for food!

Improve yours first? First off you should say what you think is wrong with this child's eating habit.

I got mine to like all veggies by keep feeding them a little along just a spoon full. They eventually like it.

You are the parent. If you don't know how to feed a 2 year old correctly, please DO NOT have any more children.
