Both men and women have breasts so if it's OK for me to walk around without a shirt on a hot day then it should be OK for women to do it too! Agree or not?

It IS OK in most of the countries of the world, and even in some states in the U.S. I live in NY and it's been legal for women to be topless anyplace a guy can be for a number of years. I go to a nude beach so for me it's not an issue, but every year there are more girls enjoying the sun on their bare boobs at regular "prude" beaches.
I've played a "shirts vs. skins" basketball game (guys and girls on boith teams) in a park this summer (I was topless on the skins team along with another girl) and although we got a few stares it was no big deal...plus, it was fun to be topless right there in public and not have to worry about getting into trouble.
Cultures change slowly, but ours seems to be moving in the right direction.
Our boobs aren't harmful to anyone, and they're just bare skin...so what's the big deal?

It is acceptable only because you have never heard of a woman crashing her car because she was looking at a guy that was walking by with no shirt on....on the contrary if women went topless I guarantee the # of car accidents due due to men rubbernecking to see them would increase about 1000% and I would probably be one of those stats.

i Agree FULLY!!!
Society has gradually made it (Not Normal) over the decades for women to be seen topless!
Take a look at a few african tribes, all their member walk around topless, because he men and women are seen equally!
Both MEN and WOMEN walk around topless
and both MEN and WOMEN pierce their bodies and have jewellery, because they are seen as equals!

The so-called "civilized" society has always placed restrictions on what is acceptable behavor for women. This is just another example. Many countries in Africa don't have this problem, of course a lot of you probably think they're not consider civilized.

no way.women's and men's breasts look quite different..in case u didn't notice...they have quite different purposes to...its totally not the same thing.
besides..if u think about it a lil' deeper...its not fun..women's breasts are an object of desire..what fun would it be if women walked around with hem exposed?men would really get bored of breasts.

I disagree, men don't have breast, we don't have to use a bra to hold up anything. U can walk around with just the bra if u want to and then u will feel better about it.

umm b/c girls dont get turned on from seeing a guys pecks. Think about it... could you really concentrate in life and get things accomplished if all women went topless?

they can in some places.....here in Ontario Canada it is legal for women to move about topless, ride bikes whatever they choose.
