dandiya is an indian dance ..organised as a big get-together and celebrations during days of navratras..(near diwali).
Although the dance purely belongs to gujrati comunity, however it has caught upon almost all of north and west india.
anywhere u find gujratis in the world , u know these days why they are so jubiliant...
Best dandiya as obvious happens in gujrat.. ahmedabad/surat/gandhinagar.. this region.
its hugely popular in mumbai as well..u'll find the maximum crowd in mumbai..big city.. large number of people..
