This is that time in your walk with Jesus where your starting to grow and come to a new level of service and grace. You will get through it and be blessed more than you ever imagined. To do it you will need to stop with any negatives and start realizing who is really in control of your life.Keep reading your Bible , pray , and attend church faithfully.Share your feelings with your church family and ask for prayer,I will start praying as soon as this is sent.Read Hebrews 11.God Bless and keep you Amen.

I would suggest a therapist You say you need to have a lot of faith Why You either have it or not. You say you tried reading the Bible, If you want faith so should want to read the bible. Are you sure you are not just going through the motions because you think it the right thing to do. Lighten up have some fun be nice to people and who knows what you will find If there is a god I am sure it would not want to cause you grief

WHY is your faith slipping?
Don't be scared. There are other things to consider and other paths to take in life.

I don't understand why you NEED to have faith in God, or need to have a lot of it. Don't feel the need to be commited to your religion.
You might just need to explore other things and if it's the right thing for you you'll come back to it.
Faith isn't forced. You can't MAKE yourself believe in something, you either believe or you don't.
If it's slipping just keep doing what you think you need to do to rediscover it, reading your bible and stuff, experiencing life, talking with people, but don't worry and don't try to force yourself to believe. There must be some reasons in your head, some questions that are bothering you? What exactly do you need help with? I really don't understand what you're hoping to find.

it's all right. it happens to all of us

it's called evolution and change

there is a saying...God does not need man, man needs god

pick something attainable and put your hope and aims there, here on earth

if you truly read your bible, you will lose faith when you see all the inconsistencies and inequality towards women or 'infidels' and children

hope in something profound and eternal like random acts of kindness you can recieve or be the miracle for others like Kris Kringle or Valentine

god is not some ambiguous thing out of our reach, god is more personal and is up to you to define, finding peace of mind and heart, peace with neighbors is a good start

each religion out there has things we can learn from...

try others like Kwanzaa, or try observing other celebrations of other faiths or even agnostics and athiests by reading thier works

see why other people of other cultures celebrate thing yearly, their 'god' is where they are and it's more about community and togetherness and helping each other

last but not least...faith becomes weak when fact and truth become strong...not a bad thing

know what you believe, and your actions reflect your beliefs...it's called character

we are judged on our character not on our claim to faith

be the miracle

Faith comes from within you and you are the only one who can nurse it back to health.

However, knowing that someone else is going through what you are can help. When I feel my faith slipping, I go to the women's shelter or to the hospital to visit people, and sometimes I go to a nursing home and visit the elders or even better, I go to church.

When I see others have it worse than I, I remember to count my blessings instead of dwelling on the things that are wrong at the moment.

I go to the nursing home for two reasons. The elders have so much wisdom to impart, which helps me, but they rarely have anyone to give it to, which helps them.

Going to church and asking for prayers gives you a lot of shoulders to lean on when times are tough, but they can't be there for you if they don't know you need them!

Good luck, God go with you and remember - the sun always shines but sometimes it's temporarily blocked by a cloud. Not to worry - clouds don't hang around forever.

The truth here is only you can fix your faith. Try talking with others who share your faith or a lead member of the church in your neighborhood, etc. Look to ppl, both in and out of your community, who have what you sense as success and believe in your God as an example of what you might try doing.

I suppose you are a christian then. Christianity can be seen as a religion but in reality it is a relationship with God which you must establish. It is a religion when you think you must do things like reading your Bible, be good, attend church and all that kind of stuff. All religion is obeying a set of rules to make yourself feel good morally and can soon get boring and difficult to follow and inevitably unless fear drives you on, you lose interest.

You need to know that God loves everyone and wants to have a relationship with them based on the fact that we acknowledge His existence and turn to Him for forgiveness of sins so we can be with Him in Heaven when we die. He gives us all the freedom after that. He forces no-one to do anything and His presence in us and our love for Him then helps us to do His will, and then enjoy reading the Bible His word.

If you have not already, you'll have to ask God (Jesus) to forgive your sins and be part of your life...this establishes a relationship. You must looke to be part of a good church and read the Bible and talk to God (pray) frequently. He is real and you will enjoy the experience. You can chat to God about anything and everything but with respect.

If you have already (been saved) you can pray about this problem to Him and ask for grace to be revived. You can always contact me.

you don't have the confidence for what?

You only have to remember that God gave us all the highest degree of intelligence than any other living, breathing thing on earth.

He gave you that intelligence to help yourself.
To solve your problems
The ability to think

When a problem presents itself - you ask God for the answer?
You pray he will make it right?

You are a disappointment to him.

Instead think of what He would want you to do?
The question should be -just how do I solve this - there is an answer.
Keep reminding yourself that God is with you - he is waiting for you to solve your own dilemma.

unhappy in your personal life? What can YOU do about it?
Or are you happy staying in the same situation and being able to yap about it to others and say you just don't know how strong your faith is

Action - rather than words

I love him and I am so happy that he knows i can solve my issues myself - I will show him I can

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER TO THANK HIM FOR SHOWING ME THE WAY

"I've tried reading my Bible" You should be reading some of it everyday. If you are only working on your relationship one day a week then there won't be one. You need to be a christian seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. You should be praying about it also. Sort of in a nut shell "Stick with it".
