You should try Celtic Haven Cottages, I've been on two group holidays with my mates and they are excellent value for money, situated near Tenby plus you get a free activity day through Activity Wales at the local leisure park. The cottages were converted about 10 years ago from stables and have beamed ceilings and gorgeous chunky antique pine furniture and they are fully kitted out with everything you need, power shower, microwave, dishwasher, cooker etc.

Parents with a child of under 5 can stay in the family annexes of Youth Hostels. Broad Haven or Poppit Sands would suit your requirements. You can stay in Youth Hostels nowadays without being members of the YHA. Advance booking is essential, but you could see what's going!
