Creams will only relieve a few symptoms, most of them are self-proclaimed anyway. The root cause of the problem should be addressed, where a group of missing complex carbohydrates should be replaced. This is not a dramatic process. They are responsible for allowing the transfer of all biological data to take place in the human body.
Put basically; Psoriasis is a very mild and early indication that the immune function is compromised. My eldest daughter suffered for 17 years, and was cleared in 3 weeks. No miracle cure or self-proclaimed healing, just pure science at its best.
First things first though;-
Avoid Aspartame like the proverbial plague, and forget Caffeine ever existed. Drink at least 2 litres of bottled still mineral water every day (anyone who tells you bottled water is a hype, has no idea what they are talking about).
Take care now, and good luck.
Skin diseases are no longer a problem to control.
A group of complex carbohydrates should normally be attached the proteins of every single cell in the human body. The transfer of all biological data at cellular level depends upon all of those carbohydrates being in place. This is the mechanism which is 'Immune Function'.
Diseases such as Eczema, Psoriasis or Hives, are simply the result of the immune system not being able to recognise that there is a problem in the first place.
Replacing these missing carbohydrates is quite straight forward, and promotes proper immune response. This attacks the root cause of the disease.

I as well have had psoriasis since the age of 13 and I am now 26 and there has been very little time in there where I have
ever been completely clear of it and I am sure you have been told many times that what works for you may not work for me. but I hope this will relieve some of your pain So try to drink lots of spring water and take a vitamin d pill each day, Epsom salt baths, coco butter.and the tanning salon a couple of times a week it is more convenient than UV treatment and if you live in the states you probably pay for the UV. If you live near the ocean get in it the salt water it helps and even the pool in your neighbors back yard could the trick stay away from pop even though I love Pepsi so much however, it makes me flare up. and try to keep your sweet in take down to a minimum amount, cause that does it for me also. and something else that may make some sense to you and may help is I am pregnant wiht my first child and as soon as I started to take the prenatal vitamin I notice a great deal of change to my skin. I don't recommend taking it of course with out your physician's advise but it has made mine almost disappear I haven't seen my knee caps since I was a little girl this has helped me or could it be maybe it just the whole chemistry change going on in my body right now. anyway hope I have helped a little I know how frustrated you are! take care and best wishes to you and everybody else who suffers from this horrible and unbearable diesease.

I am 69 and have had Psoriasis ever since I can remember.
Sorry to tell you this, there is no cure, only relieving treatment.
At one stage I had 200 points on my left thigh alone, nothing
worked. I was living in Brazil, and all dermatologists gave me
some relief cream and no hope. It comes and goes, depending
on the weather. However, one day I crossed paths with a close
friend, who is a cardiologist, and told me that I would only get
better if I moved to a dry climate somewhere within the mountain
regions, or alternatively to the Mediterranean, preferably Portugal.
Since I had a brother living in Cascais , I went, and within three
months I was clear. This doctor told me that creams, mud baths
and even small fish that nibble the sores away was all a waste of
money. He added that damp low lying climates are bad and bring
on these sores and terrible itching. He did say that there is no cure.
Now I am back in Brazil, and the whole thing returned, but not as
bad as before. I am sorry to tell you this but my intention is only
to help and save you money. There are lots of magical cures on offer, including light chambers etc., they will bring some relief but no cure.
The ailment is systemic and hereditary, my father had it.
Finally, I decided on self control. Pretending that it was nothing
and the itching was gone, now I can live with it and beat the
beast although the sores can be seen. All I can tell you is do not
go to any quacks or exoteric miracle sessions. It is a "do it
yourself" treatment of self control, with or without creams. I am a
man and I realize that it is even a worse deal for a lady.
I wish you the best of luck, and with a little help from our friend,
you will manage.

I have found that stress is a very big factor. I had psoriasis for 40 years. I changed a few things in my life in the last two years and it totally disappeared in 2 months. For starters, I totally got rid of every that caused my stress,(including my ex) hahaha! Any way I also became a nudist, believe it or not. I rarely wear clothes and I get a fair amount of sun. I am not suggesting you become a nudist, but at least try less clothing. Just a thought.

I had psoriasis for years and tried everything that my GP prescribed, nothing worked. One day I read about an ointment from Australia called EXOREX. I am now cured of psoriasis.
It is available from the chemist and costs about £15. You only use a little at a time so it should last a long time. Use it every day and you will notice a difference after 2 or 3 weeks.

I know there are a lot of different things to try and as I'm sure you know not everything works for everybody but the thing that has worked best for me is a prescription ointment called "halobetasol propionate".Ask your dermatologist about it.It is only supposed to be used a few weeks at a time because it is strong, but in that few weeks it cleared mine up by 90%,and it seems to come back slower so it should still be mild by the time its safe to use it again. The tanning used to work for me but I have had numerous changes in my skin because of it so it really shouldn't be used long term(VERY dangerous).Hope this helps!

I agree you can use Udder Balm or other cow udder creams, but Udder Balm is greasy and stains everything, so you have to cover up with unwanted clothing. But, this is just for relief from the drying and pulling that your skin feels.
Protopic is a prescription gel that works very well on the patches, but not very sensible if you have large coverage on your body. I use it for occasional patches that crop up on my elbows or legs -- just small spots.
You might consider seeing a dermatologist if you have insurance. There have been a lot of new treatments developed in the past 3-5 years that are helping many, many people.

I dont think you can just walk into a store any get BC. You would most likely have to make an appt with a doctor or a OBGYN. And I give you full credit for wanting to be safe.

Enbrel® has given me the best results for my psoriasis. I have been on it about 90 days and mine is almost gone. Go see a dermatologist and ask about Enbrel®. It's very expensive, hope you have good health insurance. Good luck!
