How did we get stuck on Hindus today?

India has a caste society. Kind of like the old fuedal system
in Europe. With people who are considered of higher birth, because there parents were a Lord or whatever. Something to
that effect.
I always heard about these "untouchables" in India. I thougnt
they were holy people or something. Then I looked it up. You
wouldn't believe it!
Hindus believe in reincarnation. And somebody told a lie
on these untouchables family long ago. Saying that everybody
born in that clan, was living off bad karma. And to this day,
noone will help the people of that particular family heritage.That doesn't mean people from other countries don't help.
