1.8 or 2.0 diesel - about 380 to 450miles (£60)
1.8 or 2.0 petrol - about 350 to 400miles (£60)
2.5 V6 petrol - about 350 to 450 miles (£70)

all depends how and where you drive it. If 'boyracer' round the town....maybe only 300 a tank!!

I've owned 1.8TD & a 2.5V6 and these were my typical figures.

I own a 1.8 Mondeo, and it returns between 260 and 330 miles to the tankful, according to what sort of journeys I undertake. ( Long journeys obviously use less fuel than cold starts and around the town stop-start motoring). I get between 24 and 33 miles per gallon according to the above.

The guy who said you get 600 miles to a tank of fuel is obviously a complete and utter numpty.

Reckon on about 12p per mile. 500 miles would be £60 worth of petrol (maybe a little less).

Where from? Hexham or Hampshire?
Mine's diesel and I get 11 miles per litre on a long run so I can get about 650 miles on a full tank.

honestly about 250 - 400 depening on the journey - do not believe the figures quoted in mags or ford data.

no chance in a mondeo but it will cost you plenty for a breakdown truck

depends on your driving style....if you floor it all the time and drive in high revs it wont last as much as driving it between 1000-2500 revs which is optimal for consumption acccording fords manual
