Put her in a padded cell before she hurts herself, or worse, someone else

Definitely not normal. it's not impossible that she is having some problems that are too hard to deal with. if she does I dont' think she'd tell you. But... if this is the case she HAS to look into some underlying reasons. Somehitng that is bothering her all the time and she cannot see the solution for, possibly without even realising it. Suggest this possibillity to her in a very gentle manner. then the "stabbing " fantasy will evaporate.

I would say that's not normal.

I mean, I fantasize about tripping a co-worker and watching her fall on her stupid retarded face once in a while, but stabbing someone to death is not a normal fantasy

Just because she fantasises about it doesn't mean that she'll do it. I don't know about her being normal, but that fantasy isn't very normal.

It'd be a good idea to suggest she visits a doctor, just say that you are concerned about her.

Don't know!

I have no idea how many people think about stabbing, shooting or causing harm or mayhem to others while they are sleeping.

But, I think it would be a TERRIFIC idea if your cousin sought a Professional opinion about this form of nocturnal commission..

Sincerely.
Sash.

Doesn't sound normal to me. My only advise to you is stand far away, so she doesn't stab you.

She may have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and not know it. Having nightmares and day mares (day dreams about unlovely stuff) is a symptom. www.hufa.org has a symptoms link. Does she show any other symptoms of low blood sugar?
