Parents can not and should not choose your friends. You will make friends with people at school, work etc. that may not go to your church. This is one of those times you'll have to choose for yourself even if it's against their wishes.

Parent's do not have the right to pick and choose your friends for you. Yes you can have friends within your church but if you're going to school and no-one from your church is there what do your parents expect you to do? Tell your parents they it's upsetting you that they are trying to stop you from having other friends and if they don't understand that then just have your friends anyway. Your parents will not be able to tell you who your friends have to be when you're older and it's wrong for them to tell you who you're supposed to be friends with now.

It depends on your age. If under 18 well then you should follow their rules no matter how unfair you feel they are. It seems kind of strict but those are their wishes for you and they only have your best interest at heart. Once you are 18 it well be your decision.
