We have lots of windows, so I don't want glare.

LCDs, RP-LCDs, and DLPs (along with plasmas) offer very bright pictures.

CRTs offer bright pictures.

RP-CRTs and any FP sets offer much less bright pictures. Avoid them in bright rooms with lots of windows.

Whichever type you buy will get glare more or less.The best solution is getting light from the back of the equipment.

You could try a PROJECTOR TV... They make ANTI-GLARE canvases nowadays using whatever material it is they use.
