Two of my grandkids are 11 months apart, and they fight like cats and dogs!!!!!!! They are 10 & 11, girls but fight like boys. For your sanity dont have them that close together!!!!!!!!

There is the fighting...but no matter what the age gap is there will be that....I think the worst thing about being too close in age is the competitiveness between the children...it never really goes away...even as the children reach adulthood.

I have twin grandsons and their sister is one year younger and their younger brother is two years younger than his sister. They all take care of one another and on the most part get along very well.

2 years difference is good...me and my brother and sister are 2 years apart and we get along great, we can relate more, because the middle one is going through what the older one went through recently and the younger is going through with what the middle one went throught with. i'm glad my mom had us 2 years apart, thank god! lol
