You can never ever convince a person to trust you. trust is like love but more fragile You grow to trust a person just like you grow to love a person. Showing the person that you care and doing small little things that count can make a person trust you.

You cant convince someone to trust you, actions speaker louder than words. Trying to convince someone is basically saying your hiding something and need that persons trust to ruin it. Only time will help you.

Trust is built-up over time. Every time you DON'T do something to violate someone's trust, it increases a little more. However, 10 years' worth of trust can be wiped-out in a matter of seconds, and will take years to build it back to where it was.

Actions speak louder than words...you can't convince or trick anyone into trusting you, you will have to show them that your worthy of it. I assume you have given them a reason not to, which means you are going to have to be even more patient. Hang in there!

i agree. you cant CONVINCE someone to trust you, its all in time. try being there for them, talking to them and not sharing that information with others, show them that you are there for them no matter what the issue is.
Good Luck!
