The only thing that worked for me was to quit eating fast food. Everything cleared up in a week or so.

I have tried all kinds of anti-pimple soaps and cleansers. They work for awhile, but then become less effective. For the past year or so, I have been using only Johnson and Johnson PURPOSE to wash my face once a day. It is the best I have used...very gentle and does not clog pores. Also, ask your dermatologist about spironolactolone. This is a blood pressure medication which has been effective at controling acne by suppressing the hormones which cause eruptions. Whatever you do, don't wash your face too often or use harsh cleansers as they will strip your skin of the natural oils and increase break outs.

My son had severe acne growing up fortunately now that he's grown it seemed to take care of itself but I took him to the Dr. as teenager and he told him to use dial soap on his face wash it really well then let the soap dry on his face for a minute then wash off with warm clear water then to use a light moisturizer afterward I know this sounds odd but the Dr. said that if you dry the face out too much then the body produces more oils to replenish and causes more pimples to occur try this for a week or two and stop the meds if it doesn't help to clear it up you may need some antibiotics to help Good Luck

I'm not sure if your case is a regular teenage acne or something more severe. Either way, I am sure it is making you suffer a lot. Ask your parents to take you to a dermatologist. The health insurance should cover the cost of the visit. And he can prescribe something stronger, yet safe for your face. ( You dont want to use something so harsh on your skin that will give you wrinkles either!) Secondly, if you can afford it, I would visit a beauty salon and get a facial. They can also give you a lot of guidance what to do. And thirdly, make sure you are drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day ( not soda or juice), eating lots of fruits and vegetables and the least amount of fried foods, junk food as possible, and take vitamin E. ( It helps your skin heal faster.) Goodd luck.

Hey Nitu,
Everybody goes through the pimple phase my dear so first of all you should not worry about it much ( worry actually aggravates the problem). Try this , it works like magic. Drink lots of water atleast 3 to 4 liters a day. Infact start the day with drinking one liter of luke warm water with an empty tummy first thing in the morning. This will help wash away all the toxins which are accumulating in your body overnight...I am sure you will see good results in a month or so.....
Cheers and always be happy...as your state of mind always affects this conditions (itz true)

I bought my pre-teen daughter a cream called TERMINATOR put out by University Medical. Most of her pimples disappeared overnight and the others by the next day. Good stuff!
