i like this instructor who works at the local gym, whenever i go there, he always chats to me for about 45 mins to an hour on a one to one about all kinds of stuff, he always asks me to go in when he's working, he tells me the times of when hes working and asks me to go in and see him, he gives me compliments and also walked me to my car the once, i think he wanted to see what car i had, but does he like me? he had a girlfirend and he used to chat to me openly about his relationship. He said that he was not 'a cheater'. But then when he split with her, i was really hoping i'd have a chance with him, then my friend was chatting to him about me and he said that he knew that i liked him and he didnt want to lead me on? I haven't been back since, I feel too embarassed. do you think he did like me before he split with his girlfriend?

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

A male gym instructor will always be around all types of females.
My guess is that he will probably like anyone that comes around.
First, he wants to increase membership to his gym. Second, he knows he has a "bod" that attract girls. Find someone else that is just a regular guy. I think if you hook up with this guy, you will find yourself getting hurt. He sees all kinds of females all the time because of the type of work he does. Try to connect with someone that just has a regular daily life from school, work, or you neighborhood.

Yes, I get that impression. He probably likes you as a person. If he's not a cheater, then he would see you as a nice looking lady, and a good personality that he obviously likes.
Are you sure that his splitting wasn't precipitated by you two having so many conversations and time together?

yes I do girl! He probably slit from her to be with you. He said he wasn't a cheater, but he had to do what he had to do to be with you. If he seems like a nice guy to you. give him a chance. Go talk to him. you never really know if a person likes you until you ask. He doesn't want to lead you on probably because he just broke up with someone, but if he likes you he'll come through.

In my experience of gyms, the guys that work in gyms tend to flirt with everyone....you will be one of about a zillion people that he chats up...
By the very fact you are asking this question, I would venture that you are possibly to good for him (if he is like the usual kn obs that work in gyms!!)

He definately has/had interest. Why not stop by one more time and have a discussion with him. Instaed on agonizing over it, find out for yourself by asking him. I know it's hard to do, but this is the only way to get the answer you need. Good luck to ya!! GaryT

uhh go ask him maybe your freind i lying or he just isnt ready for another relationship he did just split but dont let this stop you from going to the gym
