Muslims believe that Allah is the God worshiped by all prophets, including Abraham,Moses etc, who is the creater and sustainer of all Universe.

Even Arab Christians use the term Allah to refer to God. Here is a discussion about this at a catholic forum.

Lot of people above said the correct answer.

Allah is the All-Powerful singular God. He is the Creator and the Sustainer of everything. He sent prophets and messengers to humans to guide them in right path.

yes the discussion was nice and had lots of info.

Allah
the only God(with a capital G), Alkhalig(the creator)+ AlRahman (the merciful)+ Alawal (the first)+ Almalik (the king)...etc.

there R such 99 name which refers 2 Allah.

Alihah
means a goddess (with small g), there is no such thing in Islam. u may find it in pagan mythology.

Ilah
also means god( but with a small g), e.g. Zeus or any other false god.

Muslims, Christians and Jews worship the same God.

All I could do to disprove your theories is ask you this: why is it, that as quickly as Arabic-conversing Christians want to call upon God, they pray to "Allah"? For each and all the time they spend in church, have fun Easter and yuletide, etc., have they been worshiping your imagined "moon god" or something else the comprehensive time, for 1000's of years? And why is it that for the period of Bibles revealed in Malaysia use the call "Allah" for God, even to the factor the place there are criminal disputes occurring between the (Islamic) government of Malaysia and the Catholic Church there over the church's use of the call "Allah"? (source for this one secure) lack of awareness could quite be bliss.
