This typical Canadian and her family probably consumes about 24 eggs/mo which is 288 eggs/yr :) Divided by 3 people, that is 96 eggs/yr per person! Scrambled eggs w/ cheddar cheese, totally yummy :)

For health how many is not as important as what's in them. Eating a natural egg from a chicken that is raised organically without pesticides, hormones, food dyes etc in the food is not the same as eating average grocery store eggs.

Don't know what is quite typical, but my son and I live together, and we eat two dozen each month (together), so that is about 144 eggs per person!
