sprayed means "fixed" cant have anymore kittens! for those who didnt understand.
vet said it was fine to do as kittens were 9 weeks old when she went in.

Yes a spayed female will still feed her kittens. I've gone as early as 6 weeks with a litter of kittens to spay the female before she'd come back into heat. The only thing that I was concerned about was the kittens irritating her stitches with there little sharp claws but she did well.

Do you mean you had her spayed? Or did you spray her with something? If she wants to suckle the kittens let her. I'm amazed the vet would consider spaying her while she was still suckilng kittens as it can be risky because of the massive amount of blood vessels on her belly at this time.

I would think by 11 weeks the kittens should have been weaned. so spaying her shouldn't be a problem

If the kittens are 9 weeks old - they can be weened and don't need mother's milk anymore. They can be off of mother's milk at 6 weeks old.

Now that all depends what you had her "sprayed" with, a can of instant milky cat mum would do the trick, but Mr Muscle window cleaner wouldn't. God this site really cracks me up, whatever next????????

The mother won't want to feed her kittens at that age. They have teeth and they will bite her.

Well, I do not know for sure, but it'd be best to wait until she is done nursing.
