I think that is a little harsh. There is a certain amount of christians who have open minds and hearts, just as there is a certain amount of muslims with the same attitudes.
However, for the rest of them...I think, at the moment, it is a question of protection. After the terrorist attacks, there has been a lot of fear mustered up among many. There is no way of identifying a terrorist...all we know is that they are mainly muslim. It is a shame but a difficult situation!
Also, in general, I think a lot of religious groups think they are the right one...they are the way forward. They want to spread their word and be the best and so they slate all the other religious groups because it doesn't fit in with their own attitudes about how to live life. Again, what can you do?

You can't just judge whole groups like that. Not all Christians are after the Muslims just like not all Muslims are blowing things up. If you are a Muslim you are only making more enemies by judging everyone in the same negative way.

I think is not all Christians by the way and we should not make general statements like this.... Just as we can not make statements like all Muslims bla bla... and we are told to respect Christians so I would have to say we need too try our best to get along, God put us all on earth for a purpose no>?
But for the few that are after Muslims, I really think because the news makes a lot of noise I guess. If people truly read about Islam and where friends with ACTUAL MUSLIMS, then they will see that we are just people just like everyone!
I do not like being blame for things I did not do at all, and also being treated like crap for it! There are plenty of weird people on tv and you do not see people saying so and so violated so and so or killed so and so and by the way he was X religion or Y religion. I am an american Comvert by the way and I really do not get why people always come to me and say middle east bla bla.... Dude I am a freaking American what the hell do I have to do with those people.I practice Islam by what the uran says and by what the Sunna says. do not insukt anyone and hope not to be insulted. Is a pitty that people are disrespectful of others beliefs to the point of offending them like a lady did by calling Prophet Muhammed a bunch of names. May God have mercy on all of us. Allahu Ackber (God is great). The other day I was walking down the street with a friend and a guy just came in a bike and wanted to run me over.... why? I do not even know this person and I get a bunch of insults because I am muslim? is just not fair... I was a person before I converted but now that I work take care of my kids and my husband and have a decent life cooking cleaning in my home I have to put up with wackos on the street just because I love God? I get critism because I cover my skin ... don't nuns do the same? do they have to be ashame. I do not speak about anyone's religion and I respect everyone equally... I hope I get the same respect. Also I do myself a favor and I read plenty of books about their religion before I start taking and speculating and insulting! This is a great Question. Ans regarding the pope, the men apologize ... Kids GROW UP AND LET'S MOVE ON there are bigger fish to fry like pollution, cancer, HIV, Bird Flu , WOrld hunger.... Just to mention a few.... Let's try to do our part and help the ones who really need it. After all no one remembers the critics....but the doers!

Not all Christians are after muslims. The ones who are are bad Christians because they are not doing as their religion teaches them to. Those people are ignorant and have been fed with wrong information by their government and the media. Their mothers must have forgotten to teach them to not believe everything they hear in the media.

Nobody is after anybody. Being a muslim, you should know better than to ask that stupid question. I'm a muslim and I dont consider terrorists or al qaeda or any other extremists as muslims...they are using Islam to terrorize pple around the world. They are extremists and we are all after teh extremists. I have a lot of Christian/Jew/ and Catholic friends and I have faith in my religion and i know whatever is going on around the world in teh name is Islam is wrong.

Why is everyone so ignorant when it comes to Muslims? I growing up in England have Muslim friends, they were just people and now all of a sudden they are Muslims. Bloody hell you people really need to educate yourselves. I won't hear a bad word said against Muslims, just because of a few idiots. I won't even bother to mention the christian holy wars.

I would like to point out to Sean R that he in glass houses should not throw stones. Before you start the whole repressed Jew thing, take a walk through Palestine. What the Isreali's are doing there is no better than what Hitler done, only in a different way. You would have thought they would have had more respect for other religions and cultures.

Jesus words at MATTHEW 7:15-20 show that you can tell what people are like by their "fruitage" -(in other words, by what they say & do & the way they act)
True Christians do not persecute anyone in word or deed.
Please do not judge the Bible by those who claim to represent it
Only by those who are following what it says
